CSF

This is the normally clear fluid which bathes and protects the brain and spinal cord.  The Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) lies in the subarachnoid space between the pia mater and the dura mater. Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) is also found in the Central canal of the spinal cord which is lined by Ependyma.
